Smaller cameras, more powerful encoders, and smarter networking technology: There was plenty to discover once again at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam. Martin Prankl was there and took a look at which developments are truly interesting for professional livestream productions. You can already find many of these manufacturers in our Livestream Shop. And the latest devices will be available soon, too.
More technology doesn’t automatically mean better livestreams. Sometimes, the exact opposite is true. At IBC 2026, it became clear that modern livestreaming technology is becoming, above all, more compact, simpler, and at the same time more powerful. What used to require several devices and an entire equipment rack can now, in some cases, fit into a backpack.
We’ve taken a closer look at a few manufacturers and their latest developments. And here’s the best part: If you’re interested in the new products we’ve featured, you don’t have to wait until they’re listed in our store. Thanks to our close collaboration with the manufacturers, we can already advise you on these new products.

More InformationPTZ cameras have become an indispensable part of many livestream productions. We found Telycam’s new solutions particularly interesting at IBC. The latest cameras feature fast brushless motors, precise autofocus, and 4K video output via SDI. This makes them appealing even for more demanding productions. One highlight was the Telycam Mix One. This compact device combines a video switcher and PTZ control. Operate cameras, switch between video sources, and produce a livestream—all with a single system. It even won a Best of Show Award at IBC.
This is an exciting development, especially for small production teams, conference rooms, or compact livestream studios. Less cabling, fewer devices, yet plenty of professional features. The new products from Telycam will soon be available in our store. If you’re already interested in the Mix One or other models, feel free to contact us. We’re in direct contact with the manufacturer and would be happy to assist you.
If you’re looking to equip yourself with professional PTZ cameras today, the Vissonic VIS-CDC-30S-NDI PTZ camera is the perfect solution in our product lineup. With a 30x optical zoom, SDI, HDMI, and NDI, it’s particularly well-suited for conferences, events, and livestream studios.
MiNE Media: Mobile Livestreams Thanks to 5G Bonding

More InformationIf you want to livestream professionally on the go, there’s one thing you need above all else: a reliable internet connection. This is exactly where MiNE Media really shines. We’ve been working with this manufacturer for years and are familiar with their technology from numerous real-world applications.
Among other things, the new MiNE Media A4 was on display at IBC. This compact streaming camera is smaller than the A5 and is particularly well-suited for mobile applications, such as at sporting events or for productions from vehicles. But it’s not just the camera technology that’s exciting. There have been significant developments in recent years, particularly in the area of 5G bonding. This technology combines multiple internet connections to make the transmission more resilient to fluctuations and outages.
A good example from our product lineup is the MiNE C300 5G Bonding Encoder. It can bundle up to eight network connections, supports HDMI and SDI, and is ideal for mobile live broadcasts. Anyone who streams sports events, concerts, or trade shows, for example, will appreciate this kind of technology. After all, even the most beautiful camera footage is of little use if the stream keeps cutting out.
We’ll also be adding the latest MiNE Media products to our lineup. If you’re already keeping an eye out for the new A4, feel free to reach out to us. Thanks to our long-standing partnership with MiNE Media, we’re well-informed about new developments.
Kiloview: NDI and IP-based video production are becoming easier

More InformationKiloview is another manufacturer we’ve been following for some time and whose technology we offer in the Livestream Shop. At IBC 2026, it became clear that the manufacturer has long since moved beyond relying solely on individual encoders. Instead, the focus is on complete IP-based production environments.
One interesting example is the AVX24-4 Media HUB. It allows for the centralized management and distribution of NDI signals. This can significantly simplify work, especially in productions with multiple cameras and different signal sources. The continued development of NDI was also a key topic. New capabilities in routing, recording, and buffering are making IP-based workflows increasingly attractive. For mobile productions, for example, the Kiloview P3 Bonding Encoder is worth considering. It combines professional video encoding with mobile transmission technology.
Kiloview is already part of our product lineup. We’re also keeping an eye on the latest developments, such as the AVX24-4 Media HUB. If you’re interested, you can contact us right away. We’d be happy to advise you on the new devices and their potential applications.
Univiso: An Exciting Alternative in Mobile Broadcasting Technology

More InformationNot every interesting manufacturer is already a big name in Europe. Univiso is a good example of this. At IBC, the Spark series particularly caught our attention. The manufacturer develops compact bonding routers and encoders designed to make professional mobile livestream productions more affordable, even for smaller teams. Especially when it comes to mobile broadcasting, it’s worth keeping an eye on new providers in addition to the established brands.
We’d also like to offer Univiso’s new products in the Livestream Shop in the future. The Spark series isn’t listed on our site yet, but we’ve already got our eye on it. If you’re interested, feel free to reach out to us. We’re in direct contact with Univiso and are happy to help with any questions you may have about the devices.
Remote Production: The director no longer needs to be on site
Another trend at IBC 2026 is the growing separation between the filming location and the production control room. Thanks to PTZ cameras, NDI, and modern transmission technology, cameras can be controlled remotely and video signals transmitted to other locations. IBC demonstrated this itself: Cameras at various locations in Amsterdam provided footage that was processed by a remote team in Prague. This opens up interesting possibilities. For example, cameras can be set up at an event, while video mixing and other production steps take place from a studio at a different location. Reliable networks, suitable encoders, and well-coordinated components are crucial for this. Anyone looking to set up such workflows will find the right encoders, decoders, and NDI hardware here.
5G Bonding: Speed Alone Isn’t Enough
Fast internet is great. However, a stable connection is far more important for a live stream. That’s why one of the focuses at IBC was on how to make mobile connections more reliable for professional broadcast applications. Among other things, the event featured testing of technologies that can be used to specifically allocate certain network qualities and priorities for video transmissions. Until such options are widely available, internet bonding remains an important solution for mobile productions.
In addition to encoders from MiNE Media, we therefore also carry networking and bonding technology from Peplink. One example is the Peplink Balance 310 5G. This high-performance cellular router supports 5G and LTE, as well as Peplink’s SpeedFusion technology. This allows you to combine different internet connections and set up professional networking solutions for live streams. Such a solution can be particularly useful at events with large audiences or at locations with unreliable internet connectivity.
Artificial Intelligence: Less Hype, More Practical Applications
Of course, AI was also a must-see at IBC 2026. Of particular interest are solutions that actually reduce the workload in day-to-day production. These include automatic captions, live transcriptions, and translations into various languages. Intelligent camera functions and automated production workflows are also continuing to evolve. For us, it’s crucial that new features not only look good on paper but also function reliably in live operations.
Conclusion: Professional livestreaming equipment doesn’t have to be complicated

More InformationIBC 2026 demonstrated one thing above all else: Today, professional livestreams don’t necessarily require massive technical setups. Compact PTZ cameras, mobile 5G bonding encoders, and IP-based production systems enable flexible setups that would have been significantly more complex just a few years ago. We find it particularly exciting to see how manufacturers such as Telycam, MiNE Media, Kiloview, and Univiso are continuing to innovate. Many of these solutions are already part of our product lineup, and more new offerings will follow shortly.
