Description

Why should you choose the Peplink MAX BR2 PRO 5G?

The Max BR2 Pro 5G is a robust, reliable bonding VPN internet router from Peplink. Two 5G connections, WiFi 6 and PoE input ensure that the data reaches its destination as quickly as possible – every time. Peplink MAX BR2 PRO 5G Bonding Modem

COMBINATION OF FIBRE OPTICS, BROADBAND AND MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS

Especially important during a live stream: a stable, fail-safe internet connection. The Max BR2 Pro 5G can use hot failover to maintain data streams at particularly critical moments, such as during a live stream. In addition, the BR2 has serial inputs for OOBM and, with its gigabit data speeds, is perfectly equipped for any SD-WAN application. The combination of fibre, broadband and cellular allows the Peplink router to be used in almost any location or even for an outdoor live stream. Thanks to the 2 Ethernet WAN ports, wire-based WAN links or an additional Starlink satellite dish can also be connected.

But the router from Peplink is also suitable for use in a moving car. The BR2 is supplied with power via the Molex Micro-Fit connection and can be coupled directly with the car’s electronics. Particularly practical: thanks to ignition sensing, the router is automatically switched off after an adjustable follow-up time when the vehicle’s ignition has been switched off. The Peplink router is therefore also especially made for emergency vehicles of the police, rescue service and fire brigade. But the router also provides stable internet for campervans or even in buses. External antennas, also from Peplink, are available for fixed installations on car roofs. POWER SUPPLY VIA ETHERNET

The Peplink BR2 is the ideal complement for existing SD-WAN networks in SMEs and branch offices. A plugged-in network cable has two functions at the same time with the router: Data transmission and power supply. With the help of the BR2, any SD-WAN network environment can be expanded to include dual Ethernet WAN, dual 5G/LTE, USB WAN and Wifi WAN. Still not enough WANs? Then plug in the MAX adapter for an instant third 5G connection. Peplink MAX BR2 PRO 5G Bonding Modem

REMOTE CONTROL VIA WEB APPLICATION

Peplink’s router is designed so that all you need to do is insert the SIM cards and you’re ready to start livestreaming. With some mobile operators, you may still need to make APN settings. The BR2 achieves up to 4 Gbit/s downlink and 700 Mbit/s upload rates as a singular modem on certified 5G mobile networks. In LTE networks, rates are up to 2 Gbit/s downlink and 150 Mbit/s upload. For internet bonding to work, you need a remote station, e.g. in a data centre. Due to the hardware installed in the Peplink routers, the speed for bonding is limited. The BR2 Pro reaches 400 Mbps without encryption and 200 Mbps with encryption. Here, upload and download are calculated in “one”. In other words, the BR2 Pro can achieve a maximum download of 400 Mbps if the connection is sent via the SpeedFusion VPN tunnel without encryption. With each modem you can also customise your own connectivity rules. All functions of the router are adjusted via a web application. The scope of delivery includes 2x WLAN antennas, 8x mobile radio antennas and a GPS antenna for indoor use. Separate antennas are available for outdoor use.
