We have received consistently positive feedback from Martin Jehnichen, owner of streamio, about the MiNE Media M4 Mini Bonding Router…
The proof of the pudding is in the eating
Since 2017, streamio.de has been broadcasting livestreams from the southeastern German states and offering productions in its own studio in Leipzig. Especially at the beginning of the pandemic period, they encountered very weak or unreliable Internet in many locations. And sometimes they even had to share it with the audience….
In order to be independent from the local internet, the streamio team started to test different bonding routers. Whether it was fail-safe LTE via Teltonika routers, the simple Peplink SOHO devices, or LiveU with its associated expensive subscription fees, none of them could quite meet their needs. Even the big peplinks weren’t really what they were looking for.
Independent and reliable – the M4 Mini Bonding Router
Only with the MiNE Media M4 Mini, everything worked like clockwork. In the meantime, streamio employees have been using it for almost two years. It always gives them the secure feeling of being able to stream independently and reliably, and also of having their own network access.
For even better speeds, the engineers provide the M4 with a 5G LTE router. This is integrated into the bonding via the WAN (Wide Area Network) input of the M4. Thus, even a power outage will not crash their livestream. It should be added that the M4 actually lasts the advertised 5-6 hours of battery life well.
“Really a nice device that we always, really always take with us when we stream. Only if a successor came along with an integrated 5G LTE modem would we be willing to exchange it,” reports Martin Jehnichen, managing director and enthusiastic user of the MiNE Media M4 Mini.
