2021 was an eventful year. 150 livestreams, 6 new team members, 5 new offices and our first own livestream studio. We were able to broadcast general meetings, award ceremonies and press conferences, make new contacts and learn a lot of new things. Always with us: the products from Mine Media.
Probably the biggest and most elaborate stream this year was the awarding of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. The scholarship is normally presented to the scholarship holders in a festive ceremony in the main auditorium of LMU Munich. A large award ceremony with over 400 people in the main auditorium is not feasible due to Corona. However, in order to honor the deserving achievements of the students and the support of the sponsors, the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität is moving the ceremony to a stylish livestream. If the students cannot go to the ceremony, our partner Stream1 brought the festivities to their living rooms. The entire team was fully committed, monitoring the laptops with the 400 participants on Zoom and controlling the cameras. Of course, the Livestream Encoder Q8 and the Bonding Internet Router M4 were also there. Thanks to the Livestream Encoder, we streamed the awarding of the scholarships live and without interruption on YouTube in 1080p with 25 frames.
We also made children’s eyes light up this year. Together with zoo director Rasem Baban and presenter Natalie from Munich radio station Gong 96,3, we organized a livestream from Hellabrunn Zoo. Because of Corona, the zoo had been closed for several months. While 1300 children and their parents watched giraffes, tigers and of course the star guest, baby elephant Otto, via the stream, we took care of the smooth transmission. How did we do the stream, outdoors without an internet connection? With 1 camera, 2 microphones and 1 Livestream Encoder Q8 from Mine Media. Equipped with 6 SIM cards, we ensured a continuous LTE transmission on YouTube.

But the Mine Media products were used for many more livestreams: hybrid livestream from the Allgäu, panel discussion from the Bavarian Ministry of Transport, award ceremony from the Munich Kammerspiele, staff meeting of Stadtsparkasse München and many more. Finally, we would like to thank all our customers and partners for their loyalty.
In addition to the 150 livestreams, we are also building up the livestream store brand. The store has been online since the beginning of the year, and in October we revised the design and made the store more customer-friendly. We revised the packaging design, made informative product videos and kept our customers up to date with the latest news on LinkedIn and Facebook. In 2022, we are also working with fresh energy to further optimize sales and customer support for Mine Media.
